Wu reported that Cosmos Labs co-CEO Barry tweeted that dYdX has demonstrated that a large-scale exchange can operate entirely on-chain, but it is currently facing competition from next‑generation perpetual contracts such as Hyperliquid and Lighter, a broader downturn in DeFi, and Web 2.5 threats like Kalshi. Therefore, partnering with Robinhood, which has distribution capabilities, to shift toward RWA is a reasonable choice. He noted that dYdX Chain has always been a sovereign chain; although it uses the Cosmos tech stack, its fees, security, and value capture will not have a material impact on ATOM, and this change does not harm ATOM. Cosmos ecosystem validator service provider Cosmostation announced that on July 1 it will stop providing validation services for more than 20 PoS networks including Axelar, Cronos POS, Dymension, Fetchai, IOTA, Namada, Neutron, Noble, Stride, etc., and reminds delegators to promptly redelegate their stakes to other validators.
