Supply has been steadily climbing throughout the day from an intraday low of 4.1 million, meaning it is getting easier for market participants to borrow shares. Cost to Borrow (Fee Rate) at the moment is 0.78% (Latest). While the absolute cost to maintain a short position remains very cheap, the baseline has ticked up slightly from its late-June floor of 0.67%. It peaked briefly at 1.02% over the last 48 hours. Daily Short Volume Ratio is at 40%. Out of all the volume reported to FINRA on July 1, roughly 40% of the trades were executed by short sellers. This is down slightly from a recent peak of 46.8% on June 29. Massive differences between $STRC and $SATA now. Most notably in the cost of shorting.

    STRC above $90. Time is running out. @roycoprotocol's Junior tranche is at $0.807 with just six days left in the Observation Period. It's been recovering. But the clock is ticking. Over the last few sessions, STRC has rallied consistently between 2pm and 6pm Madrid time. If that pattern holds today, things could get very interesting. The weekend effectively takes two days off the clock. The Observation Period ends around Wednesday or Thursday. A full repeg may not even be necessary. Redirected Senior yield could close part of the remaining gap on its own. What's your bet? Full recovery? 🤞
