These days it seems that a meme coin called solana:9cRCn9rGT8V2imeM2BaKs13yhMEais3ruM3rPvTGpump is trending. Actually I still view it a bit ambiguously. I'm not deeply familiar with who @blknoiz06 is. I just know they blew up on WIF and are an influencer with considerable sway in the Solana meme‑coin cycle. And when such a coin appears, the trading volume is likely to increase. Solana liquidity could get attached, and people might flow back into the meme‑coin arena. Meme has long become a culture in crypto. In a market where coins like Doge and Pepe have entered the top‑50 by market cap, saying “meme coins are nonsense” now sounds rather old‑fashioned. There are memes in the stock market as well. We had GameStop, and there’s AMC. But crypto is a market where the meme tendency is even stronger. Strangely, I feel a bit bitter every time I see this. The crypto growth I expected is a bit different. I look forward to a more finance‑friendly, more professional picture, with more assets, payments and settlements moving on‑chain. I imagined future‑oriented structures such as stablecoins, tokenized stocks, on‑chain payments, RWA, and finance APIs called by agents. I think the next crypto cycle will mature further in that direction. But people’s mindset is different, or perhaps it’s the market. Often what people want is a quick pump rather than financial innovation. The meme catches the eye before utility, and interest creates price before cash flow. Someone might say to me: “Isn’t it just a stomachache because you can’t eat it?” Honestly, half of that feels right, half feels wrong. In Korea, if you rank me among those who knew the Ansem coin in its early days, I’d be fairly high. I saw it almost at the extreme early stage when Ansem was still sealing, and when Solana liquidity came in I only thought internally that this kind of meme could get pumped. But it didn’t.
