    almost everyone wanted to long $HYPE, so I looked into who’s actually shorting rn two of the largest short positions on HYPE were recently opened around ~38, with combined short position size above $30M -0x939f95036d2e7b6d7419ec072bf9d967352204d2 up $1.8M on the short -0x7dacca323e44f168494c779bb5e7483c468ef410 up $850K on the short both whales have an overall PnL of ~$46M, and are also holding significant HYPE spot positions > 0x7da.....ef410, 560K HYPE (~$20M) > 0x939.....04d2, 681K HYPE (~$24M) so these perp trades look more like swing hedges rather than pure directional shorts

    People think HIP-4 will add $20b to Hyperliquids valuation because that’s where Polymarket and Kalshi are valued at. HIP-4 is a 10x better product and is not just about prediction markets but Re-Insurance which is a way bigger market. HIP-4 will add $100b to HYPE valuation

    What you need to know about HIP-4 by @Yaugourt TIL Opening a position on HIP-4 is $0. Fees are only charged when closing or settling a position, and based on testnet - 7 bps taker, 4 bps maker. Deployers can choose to scale up to 50% of trading fees. In comparison: Polymarket: ~2%/200bps on winnings, on every trade. Kalshi: ~7%/700bps on every trade. HIP-4: 7 bps, only on exit. Opening is free.

    $HYPE Pretty conflicted here; I am going to stay patient on any active positions but I have a small amount of spot that I'd like to increase. It's had some big sellers on this one recently and it's chopped around the last few weeks. It's still 1 of the best performing alts this year and I think that probably continues to be the case but would like to see it form a base before actively buying.
