Robinhood chose @arbitrum Orbit to power its tokenized asset chain, plugging into the Arbitrum Expansion Program (AEP) that the Arbitrum foundation and @Offchain introduced back in January 2024.

The revenue today is still small. Robinhood Chain has generated about $147K in protocol revenue.

The interesting use case is what happens if @RobinhoodCrypto gradually brings more of its business on-chain.

The company reportedly manages $324B in platform assets, holds $143.6B in custody, and now offers 2,000+ tokenized stocks across 120 countries.

Layer 2s are competing to become the infrastructure that powers global financial platforms.

If that's where this market is heading, infrastructure partnerships could end up being one of the most valuable metrics investors track.

Building for the programmable economy means creating a platform that can transform a business of any size.
