🚨UPDATE: Another major exploit has struck the crypto industry, with Echo Protocol on @monad reportedly suffering a $76 million attack tied to unauthorized eBTC minting.
Following the exploit, Echo Protocol said it regained control of the compromised admin keys, burned the remaining 955 eBTC still held by the attacker, paused Monad cross chain functionality, and upgraded the affected contracts to tighten control over sensitive protocol operations.
The incident marks the third major crypto exploit in just four days, adding renewed pressure on DeFi platforms to strengthen cross chain security, contract controls, and administrative key protections.
