🚀 STEPN Marathon Challenge S3: Ideas & Feedback From Season 2 🏃‍♂️⚡

Season 2 of the #STEPN Marathon Challenge was a huge upgrade compared to Season 1. 🔥

The introduction of the Team Making feature completely changed the experience. The competition evolved from an individual challenge into a true team battle, creating a new level of strategy, teamwork, and excitement.⚡

We still don’t know what Season 3 will bring, but here are some of my personal thoughts and suggestions based on Season 2:

👥 More Team Transparency & Statistics
Some users might feel that showing team members and their daily Energy burned publicly is not ideal.
Personally, I think this feature could actually make the competition even better. Being able to click on a top team and view:
👤 Team members
⚡ Individual daily Energy burned
📈 Team contribution breakdown
would create more transparency, motivation, and excitement.
Seeing how different players contribute to a team would make the competition feel even more alive.

🏆 Recognize Personal Improvement
Team rankings are exciting, but individual progress also deserves recognition.
It would be great to see personal improvement reflected inside team standings.
For example:
🥇 Tatsiana (+2 ⬆️)
🥈 CioSilv (-1 ⬇️)
🥉 MadiVaan (-1 ⬇️)

A simple ranking change indicator could motivate users to keep improving and push harder.
Even better, recognizing top improvers with badges or small rewards could create another layer of competition beyond just team rankings.

🎁 More Incentives for Team Efforts
One of the most exciting moments of Season 2 was Round 4, when top teams received recognition through badges, GGBoxes, and keys.
The competition became extremely intense. 🔥

Even users who were not part of the top teams were following the leaderboard daily because the team battles were so exciting.
Having some form of team recognition every round would keep the momentum going.

It doesn’t always need to be huge rewards. Sometimes a badge, special title, or small recognition can create a lot of motivation.

🌱 Reward Diversity, Not Only Rankings
One challenge with competitive leaderboards is that lower-ranked teams may feel they have no chance to compete.
A way to solve this could be rewarding improvement:
📈 Biggest improvement from previous round
⚡ Highest Energy growth
🔥 Most consistent team
These rewards could motivate every team, regardless of their current ranking.
Everyone should have something to fight for.

💬 Team Communication Features
A small team chat feature could make the experience much more social.
Imagine having a place where teammates can:
🔥 Motivate each other
🏃 Share progress
⚡ Push together toward goals

The Marathon Challenge is already becoming a team sport. Adding communication tools could make the teamwork aspect even stronger.
Season 2 showed how much potential the Marathon Challenge has. The team competition created a completely new dynamic, and there are many ways to make it even more engaging in Season 3. 🚀
