Watched this video about the Virtuals protocol, it's very fun and has a futuristic, sci‑fi feel:

Robots have achieved an autonomous on‑chain buying, selling, and logistics closed loop between each other, with no human intervention in the entire process.

Simply put,

A Unitree humanoid robot—basically a walking robot—printed a small model using its own 3D printer.

After printing, it automatically posted a "delivery request" online via Virtuals' ACP (Agency Commercial Protocol).

Next, another robot took the order.

The autonomous rover from @realRiceAI drove over and picked up the goods.

How is payment handled? It automatically paid with USDC on the Base chain.

The rover delivered the goods to a transfer point.

The last‑mile delivery was completed by a drone from @FlybyRobotics,

which flew over and completed the delivery.

Overall,

The entire process (who picks up the shipment, how the price is negotiated, how payment is made, and how handoff occurs) is negotiated and settled on the crypto chain entirely by the robots themselves; humans only set up the scenario, connect the devices, and assign tasks, with no further intervention.

This is truly impressive and reflects Virtuals' continual frontier‑exploring ethos.

Previously, AI agents could only chat online or trade crypto; now they can literally control the physical world:

They produce themselves, order logistics themselves, pay themselves, and deliver themselves.

This marks the true beginning of a "machine economy"—future robots may conduct business in reality just like humans.
