Yooldo Games issued a statement on May 25 regarding the sharp decline of the ESPORTS token, stating that the incident was not initiated, directed, or intentionally created by the team. The team noted that they had previously brought in external OTC and market-making partners to support liquidity and ecosystem growth, but the investigation found that the actions of one partner were inconsistent with the team's understanding of the partnership arrangement. Yooldo said that current information indicates that a substantial portion of the selling pressure may have come from tokens previously provided to that partner, but because the funds have moved through multiple wallets, complete tracing remains difficult.
