But look closer at what's actually inside that $18B, and it gets interesting: - Tokenized treasuries: ~67% - Commodities (mostly gold): ~29% - Stocks: ~2.5% - ETFs: ~1.5% Basically the entire market is paper assets bonds and put onchain. BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, Ondo, Tether all fighting over the same category. Nobody's touching physical, operating infrastructure. $18B tokenized, and zero of it is a real ship carrying real cargo. That's the gap @EthraShip is stepping into. Shipping moves 80%+ of world trade by volume, a $1.5T industry running for decades, completely untouched by this RWA wave. Not a new asset class invented from nothing a massive existing one finally getting a door into Web3. And @EthraShip isn't starting from zero, Ethra Invest has operated real dry bulk vessels since 2021. Real ships, real cargo, before any token existed. The SEC described a custodial model for tokenised securities in January. Ondo shipped the first production deployment of it in under six months, tokenising BlackRock's S&P 500 ETF and Micron stock inside the US regulatory perimeter. Broadridge, the firm running shareholder voting for most of Wall Street, now delivers proxy voting to Ondo token holders. 430+ tokenised assets, $18 billion in cumulative volume, 70% market share, and the only 24/7 minting and redemption in the sector.
