    🚨BREAKING: THE AMERICAN STOCK MARKET IS ABOUT TO CHANGE FOREVER The SEC is preparing to release its "innovation exemption" this week - a framework that would allow crypto-native platforms like Coinbase to offer tokenized versions of publicly traded US stocks on-chain, without full broker-dealer registration. Third parties could tokenize Apple or Amazon without the company's consent. Trading would run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nasdaq got SEC approval for tokenized equities in March. NYSE got theirs in April. DTCC began live tokenized asset trades in July with a full launch in October. SEC Chair Paul Atkins has driven this under his Project Crypto initiative, calling existing securities rules unfit for blockchain systems
