AI + Crypto = Machine Economy! I've been emphasizing a topic, and firmly believe that the start of this bull market is the natural combination of AI agents and cryptocurrency: As Coinbase CEO @Brian_Armstrong said, the era of a possible Machine Economy is already emerging. Human payments have a consumption attribute, corporate payments have a trade attribute, and future AI payments will have a system's automatic collaboration attribute; machines can earn money, spend money, and hire other machines themselves—this is what is called Agentic Commerce. In the future, stablecoins won't be used mainly between humans, but increasingly between AI and AI. I have several viewpoints that may impact the market and industry in the future: 1️⃣ Stablecoins may not be intended for humans, but for machines—something that hardly exists now but is likely to appear in the future: Stablecoin = the currency of the machine world; ETH / SOL = the settlement layer of the machine world; GAS = the “electricity bill” of the machine world; Wallet = AI's bank account; Private key = AI's property rights. 2️⃣ DeFi is not a financial innovation, but a prototype of machine finance; 3️⃣ The factor that will truly boost stablecoin transaction volume by 100× is not retail investors or institutions, but the number of AI users. Let's do the math: suppose in the future there are 5 billion people, each with 10 AIs, resulting in 500 billion AI agents. If each AI generates 20 payment actions per day, that’s 500 billion × 20 = 1 trillion transactions per day. By comparison, Visa currently processes about ~700 million transactions per day. 4️⃣ If this direction holds, the biggest future crypto track may not be exchanges, not public blockchains, not DeFi, but rather scenarios like these: AI Agent wallets, AI payment protocols, AI → API → automated settlement systems, stablecoin settlement networks, machine identity systems (AI identity), automated market‑making / automated trading / automated settlement agents. This is an entire new economic system, and this is the real grand narrative for crypto moving forward: AI + Crypto = Machine Economy!
