In December 2025, we launched StarGate alongside the Hayabusa protocol upgrade. Hayabusa transitioned VeChainThor from Proof of Authority to Delegated Proof of Stake, the most significant consensus change in our history. StarGate gave our community a direct way to participate: stake VET, earn protocol rewards, and contribute to network security and decentralization. In 3 months, total VET staked grew from 2.52 billion to 13 billion tokens. Staking TVL is one of the clearest signals of community conviction: it requires locking capital and accepting a time horizon in exchange for protocol rewards.

VeBetter's core model is built on what we call 'marginal effect': even the smallest sustainable actions carry measurable economic weight when recorded cheaply and at scale. A reusable coffee mug. Aggregated verified actions represent something genuinely significant: a real, blockchain-verified sustainability data set, governed by a community, with economic incentives aligned to real-world behavior. The B3MO evolution from mascot to AI agent is one of the more interesting developments in our roadmap. B3MO will automate VeBetter ecosystem processes, surface insights across 50+ apps, and be one of the first agents listed on the TRUST Marketplace. It already has an established brand presence and community following, giving it a head start on the trust-building problem most new agents face. More broadly, B3MO is a test case for a specific type of agent: sustainability-focused, human-incentivizing, with transparent on-chain track records.
