From what I can tell, everyone who applied for the campaign received a referral code. However, the requirement is to generate $10K in trading volume before you can qualify. What I’m still unsure about is whether hitting the $10K volume actually guarantees a spot in the campaign, or if there will still be another round of selection. Overall, it feels more like a farming campaign than a creator campaign.

🔴 We're welcoming Thibault Pelé, Head of Product Emerging Technologies at @WorldlineGlobal, as a speaker at our private breakfast in Paris on July 7th! Worldline is Europe's payment infrastructure backbone: €4B in revenue, 1.2M customers, processing payments for banks and merchants across the continent. In April, it partnered with Circle to give financial institutions and PSPs access to stablecoin-powered settlement through a single API, without changing their existing fiat workflows. He'll join @jpmorgan and @coinbase, cutting to the core question: when stablecoin rails are live, compliant, and scaling, who controls the flow of value, and who ends up owning the client?

Circle's biggest shortcoming right now is that its revenue mainly relies on US Treasuries. In Q1 2026, Circle's total revenue and reserve revenue were 6.94 亿美元, with reserve income at 6.53 亿美元, which is about 94% still coming from USDC reserve asset earnings. Moreover, the quarterly reserve return rate has already dropped by 66 basis points. This structure looks good during high‑interest‑rate periods, but once US rates fall (Fed rate cuts), Circle will face the awkward situation of lacking a second growth curve. Solutions are indeed not easy; my suggestion is just a guess. In fact, we can see that Tether, another stablecoin, also hasn't found a stable source of earnings. Tether has made investments, corporate bonds, bought Bitcoin and gold, but from the financial statements, it still lacks a strong second growth curve. However, USDT's strongest point is its acceptance in Asia, Africa and Latin America; acceptance is profitable, but USDC's acceptance is far weaker compared to USDT. If there is a choice, CPN should definitely be the part to accelerate. CPN directly faces banks, PSPs, VASPs, enterprises and cross‑border payment scenarios, addressing the question of who will use USDC for real payments and settlement. (Although I think it's hard to solve.) As for Arc, I think it's merely about saving transaction fees; unless CPN is fully implemented with a large user base, Arc doesn't have much significance. Currently, Circle's biggest problem remains solving settlement issues; it cannot address usage by non‑crypto users. Actually, it's not that Circle cannot issue its own credit cards; the biggest trouble is that USDC reserves cannot be loaned out. In other words, the main source of income for the banking system—something Circle or stablecoins can't do.

@PhyrexNi May I ask, what do you think Circle should do to change the situation and achieve multiple revenue sources? Should Circle accelerate building Arc and CPN?

USDC revenue is highly dependent on US Treasuries, and the risk of rate cuts limits profitability.

the million dollar question, how can Circle leverage Arc chain to drive adoption of USDC? there has been a lot of talks about $CRCL lately and how they are going to do in the stablecoin market in the next couple of years. there are more competition, which is overall going to give better solutions to companies. here are 3 ways, I think Arc can get more companies to use USDC and make it more sticky: 1, USDC as native gas token (which makes it easy to forecast and plan your onchain operations) 2, Opt-in privacy features that attract banks and corporations that need compliance while moving USDC at scale. 3, Developer incentives and ecosystem grants: Funding Apps, wallets, platforms and agents built on Arc directly boosts daily USDC transaction volume.

They finally wrote the law, and the law tells you exactly what they can reach. The GENIUS Act regulates a specific creature: the issuer. A company that takes your dollars, holds the reserve, and promises to hand them back. USDC. Tether. The statute's own definition of a payment stablecoin requires an issuer obligated to redeem. No issuer, no obligation, and the definition has nothing to hold. 🫪 Now read what the license costs: A permitted issuer may issue only if it has the technological capability to seize, freeze, or burn its coins on lawful order, and will comply. That is not a side effect. It is a condition of existence. Every stablecoin blessed by this law ships with a hand on it that is not yours. It was wired in by the same government that means to stand inside every transaction and turn every decision of free men into an application for permission. Regulators are already proposing to extend that hand into the secondary market, to the coins sitting in your wallet. ✅ Then read what the law refuse

Nearly 70% of on-chain USDC ($45B) remains idle because institutions lack a clear, compliant path to access yield. @HBankCash is building the infrastructure to close that gap-connecting institutional capital with verified on-chain yield strategies. @hedera https://t.co/88hcWvo1Lw

SOLFLARE GUARDS Did you know that what you see in a transaction simulation is not the guaranteed outcome of that transaction? It's something that happens every day and almost nobody talks about it. A simulation is a snapshot. It shows what your transaction would do against the state of the chain at that exact moment. But Solana produces a new block roughly every 400 milliseconds, and a lot can change between the moment you sign and the moment your transaction actually lands. A simple example of how this gets abused: a malicious dapp asks you to sign a transaction with a program that reads a number stored in an account the attacker controls, then transfers that amount out of your wallet. When you sign, that account holds 10, so the simulation shows -10 USDC. Looks harmless. The moment you approve, the attacker changes the number to 1,000. Your transaction lands, the program reads 1,000, and 1,000 leaves your wallet. The simulation didn't lie. The state changed underneath it. This is what Solflare Guards w
